Two ¼ø»Æʦapp Architecture Students Won at the NomadHouse Design Competition

 Under the supervision of Dr. Jean Martin Caldieron, Associate Professor at ¼ø»Æʦapp School of Architecture, two of his Topical Design Studio ¼ø»Æʦapp won at the NomadHouse, Future Housing and Workspace Design Competition. The ¼ø»Æʦapp are: Collin Pierce, received the second place prize, and Christine Sader won the editor’s choice award. Collin Pierce’s project, Micro-Tower represents compact radial formations that illustrate both a hybrid-form/ function to minimize the building footprint on the ground plane by using both High Density and Low-Density Micro- Towers. Christine Sader’s project, RUKO, is a hybrid tower that explores the concept of an Asian neighborhood of shop houses and their programmatic uses and social experiences in a high rise.Â
