I teach courses in broadcast journalism, public affairs coverage, and media studies. My professional background includes twenty years of on-air and management experience in public radio, in addition to an internship at the BBC World Service in London. Since entering academia, I have taught high school ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app at the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, as well as, college ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app at Palm Beach State College, Indian River State College, Broward College, Nova Southeastern University, and (most recently) ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app.
Creatively, my interests center on student and faculty collaborations in the production of radio news and documentaries. My broadcast journalism ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app and I produce , a weekly local radio news magazine modeled after public radio programs in this genre. Our show is accessible through . I have also produced documentaries touching on a wide range of cultural, social, and political topics.
