Exceptional Student Education
Education is any form of learning or transmission of information that can occur in formal settings such as classrooms or informally through experiences with a person’s environment as a whole. The training of future formal educators includes establishing and fostering skills related to curriculum formulation, instruction, classroom management, educational administration, student services, and human development. Special education teachers work with ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app who have a wide range of learning, mental, emotional and physical disabilities. With ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app who have mild or moderate disabilities, they ensure that lessons and teaching strategies are modified to meet the ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app’ needs. With ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app who have severe disabilities, they teach the ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app independent living skills and basic literacy, communication, and math.
