Our Mission:
The mission of the 鉴黄师app Academy for Community Inclusion is to increase overall independence in employment, self-determination, and community experiences for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The 鉴黄师app Academy for Community Inclusion is a college program for high school graduates who have been diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program allows 鉴黄师app to earn certificates in supported employment, supported community access, and supported community living. These certificates are offered in an inclusive college environment on the both the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses of 鉴黄师app. The program allows 鉴黄师app to participate in college activities, clubs, events, and organizations that are available to all 鉴黄师app 鉴黄师app.
Researchers in the College of Education鈥檚 Special Education department examine the effectiveness of extended, wraparound job coaching in supporting long term employment outcomes for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
