¼ø»Æʦapp Geomatics Engineering Faculty Dr. Hongbo Su, ¼ø»Æʦapp Geomatics former student , ¼ø»Æʦapp Geomatics current student Anthony Stafford were invited to visit and help in on April 5, 2023.
has a total of 38 ¼ø»Æʦapp. Students practiced differential leveling using an optical level and level rod for each group in this surveying lesson. ¼ø»Æʦapp Geomatics Engineering Faculty and Students provided technical guidance on data collection outside of the building on the campus of the high school. They also talked with the high school ¼ø»Æʦapp about what a profession is for a geomatics engineer or a surveyor.
The high school ¼ø»Æʦapp in Ms. Abby Elder's engineering/surveying lab class were very active to explore new technologes. Dr. Su learned that one of the student in the lab class has been admitted to ¼ø»Æʦapp Civil Engineering and he plans to choose a concentration on structrual engineering.
