Dr. Yalan Liu and Dr. Abdellatef attended the City of Lauderhill Youth Excel STEM Summit on March 19th, 2025 to represent our Civil, Environmental, and Geomatics Engineering Department. Hosted by Lauderhill 6-12 STEM-MED Magnet School, the event was an exciting opportunity to inspire young ¼ø»Æʦapp to dive into the world of STEM.
Our faculty members were actively involved, leading hands-on activities and engaging discussions that showcased the vast opportunities in civil, environmental, and geomatic engineering. The ¼ø»Æʦapp' enthusiasm was palpable, and it was fantastic to see them so engaged and curious about the potential paths in STEM fields.
