The Child and Family Studies Minor encourages interdisciplinary thinking about issues relevantÌý
to childhood and family structures. By taking classes across a broad set of disciplines, ¼ø»ÆʦappÌý
will learn to consider these issues from the level of the individual, family, community, andÌý
society. This minor will allow ¼ø»Æʦapp to demonstrate topical specialization to support futureÌý
work in a variety of professional fields, particularly those involving human development, socialÌý
support, law, education, and healthcare.
Requirements:
15 credits from the classes listed below. The 15 credit hours do not include prerequisites that may beÌý
needed for some courses. Students should consult the Honors College course catalog for anyÌý
prerequisite information.
Classes must come from at least 3 different disciplines, as shown in the table below.Ìý
At least 9 credits must be at the upper level (3000 or 4000 level).
