¼ø»Æʦapp namedÌý ., the new associate vice president for academic affairs forÌý ¼ø»Æʦapp's John D. MacArthur Campus .ÌýIn this position, Stackman will be responsible for the management of all academic operations ¼ø»Æʦapp Jupiter. In addition to his strategic oversight of degree planning and enrollment growth, he will also lead the rapidly-developing research enterprise in coordination withÌý ¼ø»Æʦapp’s Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute,Ìý ÌýandÌý .

Stackman will concurrently serve as the dean of ¼ø»Æʦapp'sÌý Graduate College, whichÌýprovides current graduate ¼ø»Æʦapp with support through professional development initiatives and advice regarding policies related to thesis and dissertation preparation and submission. Stackman has a background as an accomplished neuroscientist with a research lab in Jupiter that investigates the role of brain circuits and cellular mechanisms in the development of long-term memory.
