The 47^th ÌýBiennial Sigma Nursing Convention, held in San Antonio, Texas November 11 - 15, 2023, featured presentations from ¼ø»Æʦapp College of Nursing faculty, ¼ø»Æʦapp and alumni who showcased their research and networked with others in the international nursing community. ÌýÌý

Among the convention's highlights was the Chapter Key Excellence Award presentation to the College of Nursing’s Sigma Theta Tau, Iota Xi chapter. Dr. Armiel Suriaga, chapter president (2021-2023) and assistant professor, and Dr. Barbara Lovell-Martin, current chapter president, accepted the award. The chapter also received recognition from Sigma Region 7 for its exemplary efforts and service during the biennium.
