Tuesday, Oct 04, 2022
I am delighted to share that ¼ø»Æʦapp and the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding to create a dual-degree program in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. With this next step in our partnership, we are expanding the ¼ø»Æʦapp-MPFI education and research continuum by establishing a joint M.D./Ph.D. neuroscience program.
As part of the MOU agreement, ¼ø»Æʦapp and MPFI will work in collaboration to provide ¼ø»Æʦapp with extensive training in both medicine and biomedical research with unique training elements specific to the medical neuroscience career path. Graduates of the program will receive a medical degree, as well as a doctorate in integrative biology with a concentration in either biomedical sciences or neuroscience.
I am very proud of all that ¼ø»Æʦapp and MPFI have accomplished in this partnership so far, and very excited about this new degree program. The possibilities for our future M.D./Ph.D. ¼ø»Æʦapp are enormous, and we look forward to providing them with collaborative, cutting-edge experiences that will enable them to open new doors for discovery.
