Welcome National Merit Scholars

For the first time ¼ø»Æʦapp is happy to have implemented a Scholars Program within the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. This Fall we welcomed nine National Merit Scholars in the program who will be receiving a full ride, with awards that add up to the cost of attendance. President Kelly has also offered the new ¼ø»Æʦapp a Presidential Research Grant, which offers them $3000 to put toward research or other scholarly activities. Tracy Boulukos (with the support of Dr. King and the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management) was instrumental in ¼ø»Æʦapp receiving School Sponsor status with the National Merit Corporation who helped operationalize a directive from the President. The Scholars Program staff are dedicated to the recruitment and success of the ¼ø»Æʦapp within the program.Â
