Nearly 60 BSW and MSW ¼ø»Æʦapp – along with faculty sponsors LeaAnne DeRigne and Danielle Groton – visited Tallahassee for Legislative Education and Advocacy Day 2020 (LEAD Day)! The annual road trip gives ¼ø»Æʦapp the opportunity to stand up and speak out on important issues facing our profession in today’s legislative arena. Upon their arrival, they toured , a 24-hour emergency homeless service center where Dr. Groton previously worked, and also attended the NASW’s LEAD training at . Students also participated in a rally on the steps of the Capitol. Way to go, LEADers!
