The Student Ambassadors to the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters will be a select group of ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app who have exemplified academic success and leadership within the college and at ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app. Student Ambassadors are highly motivated and committed ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app who embrace what it means to be a part of the Arts and Letters community. This is a prestigious group for ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app interested in gaining valuable leadership experience and growing their network through connecting with esteemed alumni, faculty, and community members.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the college and the Dean’s office as a liaison to future, current, and past Owls
  • Assist with various duties and tasks at college performances and special events
  • Conduct tours to prospective ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app
  • Participate in outreach initiatives
  • Contribute to social media initiatives, including creating reels, sharing photos, and posting stories, to enhance the college's online presence
  • Attend meetings and/or training
  • Perform any additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Enrolled as an Arts and Letters student major/minor
  • Completed two semesters at ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app
  • Maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Full-time or part-time student status
