The Student Ambassadors to the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters will be a select group of ¼ø»Æʦapp who have exemplified academic success and leadership within the college and at ¼ø»Æʦapp. Student Ambassadors are highly motivated and committed ¼ø»Æʦapp who embrace what it means to be a part of the Arts and Letters community. This is a prestigious group for ¼ø»Æʦapp interested in gaining valuable leadership experience and growing their network through connecting with esteemed alumni, faculty, and community members.
Responsibilities
- Represent the college and the Dean’s office as a liaison to future, current, and past Owls
- Assist with various duties and tasks at college performances and special events
- Conduct tours to prospective ¼ø»Æʦapp
- Participate in outreach initiatives
- Contribute to social media initiatives, including creating reels, sharing photos, and posting stories, to enhance the college's online presence
- Attend meetings and/or training
- Perform any additional related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Enrolled as an Arts and Letters student major/minor
- Completed two semesters at ¼ø»Æʦapp
- Maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Full-time or part-time student status
