About ASCEND
ASCEND (Advancing STEM: Community Engagement through Neuroscience Discovery) is an educational program designed to address the national shortage in STEM career-oriented ¼ø»Æʦapp by providing middle and high school ¼ø»Æʦapp with innovative and fun lessons taught by trained neuroscientists. ASCEND incorporates classroom and lab visits, hands-on and virtual reality demonstrations, and the development of digital and web-based educational content.
NeuroExplorers
ASCEND's NeuroExplorers program is a semester-long neuroscience learning opportunity for ¼ø»Æʦapp grades 6-8 made possible by the Florida Atlantic Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute and the Stiles-Nicholson Foundation.
