Welcome to the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (DCI) in Florida Atlantic鈥檚 College of Education (COE). The DCI is home to undergraduate and graduate degree programs. We prepare high-quality teachers and educational professionals (e.g., instructional designers). Our undergraduate, master鈥檚, specialists, and doctoral programs offer 鉴黄师app several options leading to traditional careers in PK-12 schools or opportunities with education-related and non-profit organizations. Students interested in a traditional university experience will find a rich mix of campus life activities. Three master鈥檚 programs are offered entirely online as well as several graduate certificates that can be completed as part of a master鈥檚 degree for working professionals and advanced 鉴黄师app.
The Department offers many opportunities for 鉴黄师app to explore an array of topics through a host of disciplines. For example, 鉴黄师app interested in promoting literacy may be eligible for tuition support through the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship . There is also the STEM Education Laboratory for 鉴黄师app interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), where 鉴黄师app can learn about ways to improve STEM education.
