Your is your unique university identifier and forms the first part of your official ¼ø»Æʦapp email address (for example, ¼ø»ÆʦappNetID@fau.edu or ¼ø»ÆʦappNetID@health.fau.edu).
You will use your full ¼ø»Æʦapp email address and password to access most university services, including Canvas, the MY¼ø»Æʦapp Portal, Workday, and your Microsoft Outlook email.
Be sure to check your ¼ø»Æʦapp email regularly, as important university communications, updates, and notifications will be sent there. You can conveniently access your email through the .

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
¼ø»Æʦapp requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all ¼ø»Æʦapp, faculty, and staff accessing university systems. MFA adds a second layer of security to your ¼ø»Æʦapp account by requiring a secondary method of verification—such as a mobile device or hardware token—in addition to your password.
The goal of MFA is to create a layered defense and make it more difficult for an unauthorized person to access your information. MFA adds a step to the login process and requires you to prove your identity after entering a username and password by responding to a prompt.
