Lab Docking Stations | Quick Guide

OIT is providing docking stations for student use in the听 Open and Housing Labs.

Docking stations allow 鉴黄师app to add one more screen to their laptops or tablets for smoother studying, productivity, and quick charging. They are compatible with Windows laptops, MacBooks, and iPad Pros with USB-C connectors. See the guides below to get started.

Windows Guide

  1. Connect USB-C cable to laptop.
    Connect USB-C cable to laptop
  2. Go to听 Settings > System > Display听
    Go to Settings > Display
  3. Select a听 Duplicate 听option or听 Extend desktop to this display.

Mac Guide

  1. Connect USB-C cable to laptop.

  2. Go to听 Settings.
    Go to Settings
  3. Select听 Displays.
    Go to Settings
  4. Select the second monitor and select听 Extended Display.

iPad Pro Guide

  1. Connect USB-C cable to iPad.
    Connect USB-C cable to laptop
  2. Go to听 Settings.
    Go to Settings
  3. Select听 Display & Brightness.
    Select Display
  4. Select听 Arrangement 听 .
    Go to Settings
  5. Toggle听 Mirror Display 听off. This will extend your screen

  6. To arrange, tap on iPad display and drag it to the desired positio 听 n and tap听 Set听 on top right to听 confirm the arrangement. 听 听
