¼ø»Æʦapp College of Education Honored with 2018 Marti Huizenga Roll Up Your Sleeves Award

¼ø»Æʦapp College of Education was honored with a 2018 Marti Huizenga Roll Up Your Sleeves Award bestowed by Junior Achievement of South Florida. ÌýMore than 150 guests attended the celebration held at Riverside Hotel in Fort Lauderdale.
¼ø»Æʦapp was chosen as one of this year’s honorees for its support, time and gift of experience that provided ¼ø»Æʦapp with the opportunity to learn through real life encounters. Through the efforts of volunteers this year Junior Achievement has served almost 50,000 ¼ø»Æʦapp.
As a nonprofit organization, Junior Achievement of South Florida relies on this precious and generous gift of volunteer time to deliver quality educational programs. JA provides programs for ¼ø»Æʦapp that focus on entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness.Ìý This is the trademark of JA education.
Accepting the award on behalf of the college was Valerie J. Bristor, Dean of the ¼ø»Æʦapp College of Education.
