Certified Student Leader Series

Discover Your Leadership Potential

The Certified Student Leader series (CSL) is a foundational leadership development initiative created to prepare undergraduate ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app for leadership roles within Florida Atlantic’s RSOs, campus departments, internships, and other on- or off-campus leadership opportunities.

Formatted as an introductory professional leadership experience, this program aims to ensure that ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app gain the essential skills, confidence, and support network needed to enhance their formal leadership journey at ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app.

Program Goal

To equip ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app with foundational leadership skills before stepping into formal leadership positions. CSLS provides a practical toolkit of transferable leadership competencies, ensuring ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app are personally and professionally prepared to begin or continue their leadership journey at ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app.


Who Should Apply?

The Certified Student Leader Series is ideal for undergraduate ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app who are:
  • New to leadership or exploring opportunities for involvement
  • Interested in future leadership within RSOs, university programs, or community initiatives
  • Motivated to grow their career-readiness skills through hands-on development

Eligibility Requirements

To participate, ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app must:
  • Be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Be in good academic and conduct standing with the university
  • Complete a brief digital interview as part of the application process

Program Expectations

Selected participants will complete the following components during their CSLS experience:
  • Attending an on-campus leadership conference.
  • Participate in the Days of Service initiatives
  • Complete at least two Leadership Lab Sessions on key leadership topics
  • Maintain active membership in a Club or Registered Student Organization
  • Enroll as a mentee via The Mentoring Collective
  • Complete at least 10 hours of community service, tracked through NobleHour
