The College of Medicine and ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app offer a number of cores and shared services to facilitate research across the university.

COM Shared Research Facilities

The College of Medicine provides specialized facilities that support a wide range of research needs for COM faculty, staff, and ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app. Use by non-COM researchers is considered on a case-by-case basis.

Cell Analytics Facility

Supports fluorescence- and impedance-based technologies to sort and evaluate properties of both fixed and living cells.

Genomics Facility

Provides RNA sequencing, miRNA-Seq, circRNA-Seq, AltSplicing-Seq, and other next-generation sequencing (NGS) approaches.

Histology Facility

Offers resources for histological research, quantitative imaging, and morphology studies.

Imaging Facility

Enables detection and analysis of nucleic acid and protein electrophoresis experiments.

iPSC / Disease Modeling Facility

Focuses on genome editing and differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) for disease modeling.

Molecular Facility

Provides tools for DNA/RNA quantitation, gene expression studies, RT-PCR, Q-PCR, and nucleic acid analysis.

Proteomics Facility

This facility contains equipment to support identification and characterization of proteins.

¼ø»ÆÊ¦app offers additional core facilities and shared services that are accessible to investigators across the university.
