Students must meet the eligibility requirements prior to the application deadline.

Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Ensure you have submitted all your required application documents by the deadline for the term you intend to take classes at ����ʦapp.

If you want to register for a class that requires prerequisites, co‑requisites, or a placement/proficiency exam, and you have already met those requirements through previous college‑level classes, you must get a course override before registering.

To do this, you should contact the academic department that offers the course. The department will review your request and may give you a course override, which allows you to register for the class. You will need to provide proof that you have completed the required prerequisite(s), such as a transcript.

We strongly recommend requesting a course override at least two weeks before registration opens to allow enough time for review.

Please note: The Registrar’s Office cannot give or help obtain course overrides. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the appropriate academic department to request the override needed to register for their classes on time.

Keep trying! Many ����ʦapp make schedule adjustments throughout the drop/add period (first week of classes) so there is always a chance that space may open up. If a class has a waitlist option, you should add yourself to it. If space opens in the class, you will be notified through your ����ʦapp email account.

You may also want to speak with your guidance counselor about adding some back-up course options. If you’re adding more course options, you can submit additional signed Permission Forms via email to�� hsdual@fau.edu ��until the last day of drop/add.

Tuition, registration, and lab fees are waived, but you are still responsible for the one-time Owl Card fee and the recurring Transportation Access Fee. Additionally, you will be responsible for any other fees that you may incur, such as library fines, parking tickets, Owl Card replacements, late registration or payment fees, etc. Please be aware of the�� last day to pay fees ��for the term; you should have paid your fees by that date to avoid late payment charges.
